I thought it was in playing in mud,
But soon the mud looked dirty and it was a dud.

...Today when I look back I realize
Happiness was never mine
Happiness was always in others smile.
The smile on my mom’s face when she looked at me painted
in mud.
The smile on my friends face when we played the game
together
The smile on my college crushes when I pulled off
stunts on my bike
The smile on that poor kids face who I helped when I
had enough money.
